I always amaze to many people here in the US with disabilities. Many of them do many things like a normal person. Like for example, every day I always see some disables children and some men and women in wheelchairs riding a bus. Is not it amazing, even though they have limited mobility, they still manage to ride public transportation by their own. That is the advantage here in the US; there is much good quality of mobility equipment for any handicap individual. One of the trustable dealer of different kind of mobility equipment like wheelchairs vehicles, is NMEDA. NMEDA is a non-profit trade association and deals with modifications for wheelchair accessible vehicles. They educate consumers on buying products from a NMEDA qualified dealer. The biggest advantage to buying from a NMEDA qualified dealer is that they conduct on-site evaluations to custom fit vehicles to your specific needs. No two people with a disability are the same. Not only that NMEDA has Dealers AND Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers.. * The Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. It is based on the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality. After a personalized “in-person” evaluation, you can be sure you are getting the right driving solution customized to your specific lifestyle and needs. If you need additional training or product refinements, your NMEDA dealer is there to help you. These dealers job is to improve the vehicle's modifications and equipment so that it complies with the quality industry standards. They are the only certified dealers recognized by Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry program. SO if you are worried about your love ones that need some mobility please visit their site and find your equipment that will fit your needs.

I think your comments on NMEDA are right on! As a provider of Mobility products and upfitters of vehicles to people with a disability, NMEDA and QAP stand for quaility and integrity in product, processes, and the people you will deal with. There are two other assoiciated and affiliate programs for reference. One is the ADA or the Adaptive Drivers Alliance. The othere is ADED or the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists.
Can I ask how you became so knowledgable about NMEDA?
