LAY OUR BURDENS AT THE LORD'S FEET

Fitful sleep caused by a troubled conscience is not very pleasant. In recent years, a whole new set of ethical questions has emerged to perplex many of us Christians. Opportunities to "take advantage" loom all around us. It may involve illegal duplication of computer programs or video tapes, illegal hookup of a cable system, "borrowing" supplies from work for home use, "helping yourself" to extra lumber or hardware from the company warehouse. Some of us do it because for them that the only choice, some they do it to survive. If you are in a tough situation sometimes we will think that maybe I can do it also. Sometimes we got an advice like " just do it to survive" and if we refuse to do it we are scorned, misunderstood and pressured by family or friends. "What's wrong with you?" they are berated. "Everybody or somebody does it. there's nothing wrong with it." Is there? I say this because I heard with myself such advise. One time in mylife i think that maybe I can do also what somebody doing. During the rough time of my life away from home, not having job, living alone with nothing, I was bothered with some conversation telling me that "just do it so you had somebody to lean on" and honestly I almost fall on that temptation because I need to survive. Thank God I found a church family who help me a lot to go on my life. I learned to lay all my ethical conflicts at the LORD'S FEET and agree to do what HE says is right. Each of us should decide these kind of issues for ourselves; it's really between you and God. I always keep on my mind King David suffered the same anguish we are facing now, refusing to go along with the worldly crowd. He cried out,

"Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory"

REMEMBER: Always lay your BURDENS at the Lord's Feet. No matter the cost, your conscience will be at rest and you will be assured of the Lord's Counsel, support and honor in the days to come.

HE'S LISTENING

When you pray, do you feel positively assured that God is listening? Many of us have doubts. In fact, we may even let these doubts be the reasons you we do not pray very much, especially at night when we are tired. "I'm afraid He won't answer," "He answers others' prayers but I'm not sure He'll answer mine," or "I don't feel I should bother Him with my petty needs." The variations are endless, but the underlying fear hindering many from laying all your requests before God is fear that He won't respond. Have you ever talked to someone who looked over your shoulder at someone else while you were speaking? You feel like saying, "Look, when you want to listen, then I'll speak." Are you viewing God the same way? Are you thinking of Him as being too busy with "important people" or too impersonal to care about or listen to your little woes? Nothing could be farther from the truth. God does have empathy. He longs to listen and He promises to respond! "And we are sure of this, that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. And if we really know he is listening when we talk to him and make our requests, then we can be sure that he will answer us" (1 John 5:14-15, AMP). Tonight, put on a new attitude toward approaching God with your needs. You'll sleep much better knowing that He has heard, that every concern is entrusted to His capable hands, and that the answers are on their way. He always answer our prayers but in his own time frame.

ARISE O LORD

What does the word "oppression" mean to you? What does it mean to be "needy" in some area of your life? These may sound like old-fashioned terms, but these are the terms the Bible uses for what many of us have been feeling, night after night. In other words, someone or something (be it a natural circumstance, a demonic force, an illness or any other kind of burden) has weighed you down so heavily that you've started to believe you have no power to overcome it. Has this oppression gone on for so long that you're convinced you have no strength to fight?

Don't despair; the Lord is about to come to your rescue! Have faith and believe... Throughout the Bible we see that He will only put up with the oppression of His needy ones for so long. Then He arises with great strength, and joining with you, soon puts the enemy to flight in that area of your life. This is what He is doing . He is promising, "Now will I arise, says the Lord, because the poor are oppressed, because of groans of the needy; I will set him in safety and in the salvation for which he pants..Now it's our time to ARISE in JESUS NAME..

EMPOWERED BY LOVE

Pressures from work and some personal problems can weigh on your soul in the middle of the night like a wet blanket. Has your work become dreary? Is your personal problem made u weary? Is it taking you twice as long to do things than it used to? Has the striving to get somewhere become too much? That you can't control not to shed tears at night. I say this because most of the night I cry out to God how can I go on but with his Love.. I know I can and He will never leave me. He always holding my hands not to fall completely. Like the story of the apostle in one dark, stormy night, the twelve apostles were together in the same boat. There they were, out on the sea of Galilee trying to get to Capernaum, but Jesus was not with them. They were left to struggle with the storms of nature on their own, and quite frankly, they were not getting very far. It's the same with us sometimes, we have to face the circumtances. Suddenly an amazing thing happened: "...they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid. But He said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid." Then they willingly received Him into the boat... and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going". When Jesus, the God of love, joined the endeavor, they immediately got to their destination! It give us a major insight as to what love can do for any project. When love is involved, time flies; work is accomplished with grace and ease. Pray for love of your work! Pray for Jesus, the power of Love Himself, to get into your "boat" and lead you through...I am a live testimony for God's Love without his LOVE how can I go on mylife here in a foreign land, far away from family and at the same time recovering from divorce. With God's Love I will go on to my destination.

RELEASE BURDENS

There are many times when I want to go to sleep, but my mind keeps thinking about a pressing problem from the day. Various problems that I am dealing until now. Some are not really big and some,  I consider probably serious one.  I simply cannot possibly sleep until  late at night.

But then, in the midst of my concern, the Holy Spirit always gently reminds me that, through my prayers, I can pray away my burdens, and intercede for all of my problems and all my  loved ones problems too. The I will start to pray and release my burdens to God, I cry out to him, all the disturbing thought I have,  all the pain and hurts in my heart.  All the hatred and anger that make me disturbed in the middle of the night. I ask God's blessing to give me peaceful sleep and wipes all those disturbing thoughts. I cry to him to give me strength to fight the disturbance on my night.  I  ask God's blessing upon the lives of the people who is the reason of my anger in my hurts to touch their lives, I pray to him to ease all the PAINS.   I RELEASE ALL MY BURDEN TO JESUS MY LORD.   God cares about all our  concerns and our loved ones concerns.   Through our prayers, we can release all of our problems and all of our love ones burdens to our Heavenly Father. And believe me you will be able to have sweet and peaceful sleep. PRAYERS IS POWERFUL..

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Isn’t it amazing to know that God is so aware of every part of your life — that even the hairs on your head are numbered? The Bible tells us that the Lord delights in the details of your life. It gives Him great pleasure to look after every circumstance and concern you encounter. His promise to you, His child, is to protect you and provide for your every need. As you come to God in prayer, it is important to remember that you are coming to a heavenly Father who is rich in mercy. If you have been born again through belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the payment for your sin — then you are God’s treasured child and nothing in heaven or on earth can separate you from His love.

A RICH GIFT

Do you know who was the first in the Bible to loudly declare in public that Jesus was the Son of God?   The answer may come as a surprise. It was a legion of demons, speaking through the man of the Gadarenes, who first shouted, "Jesus, Son of the Most High God" for all to hear (Mark 5:7). The disciples seemed to be the last to boldly proclaim that Jesus was the Christ!  When I talk  this to a friend she marveled at God's patience with us. Imagine what He must endure as our Father...the layers upon layers of fear and unbelief that must be pealed off each one of us before we'll declare, with power, Who He is!   God's patience is finally rewarded as we begin to bear fruit.  But what about our own patience with others – and with ourselves? Sometimes I think that His patience which He has placed within us is His richest gift. As we learn to exercise and develop it, it brings great rewards. Jesus promises us:  "Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance, have held fast the lesson of My patience with the expectant endurance that I give you – I also will keep you (safe) from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth"   Everyday of your life , tap into the rich gift of patience which He has given you in His Son. Exercise it toward yourself and others, and watch for rewarding results. BE PATIENCE ...

GOD'S WAYS

"Why are you still sick? If God is your healer, then why aren't you healed?" Comments like this can cause distressful nights from well-meaning friends. Or you may have these questions yourself. The answer, I believe, lies in the power of the cross...in the process our old natures undergo as God prepares us for a truly victorious life. As we advance in our spiritual life, the Holy Spirit searches our hearts for the dark "pockets" of our sin nature that have yet to die. King David spent an entire Psalm (38) describing how this affected his health. He also described the taunts of his family and friends who derided and avoided him when physically, he was in his darkest hour. This may be what you're going through now.  Many are the strong saints in the Lord who have had similar experiences in their lives. They also came to realize that it was not a time when God was not answering their prayer – indeed He was, but in a far greater way. He was changing them to be more like Him. How can you explain to the unenlightened what is happening to you inside? You can't. You can only take comfort in the knowledge that you are: "carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body...then death is working in us, but life in you" .  Rejoice in the fact that as you allow God's deep inner workings to take place within you, the life of Christ will soon spring forth from you to nourish and save others. Any circumatances you had in your life..Let it GO, and Let GOD do it in his own WAYS... God Bless You....

DON'T FEAR DEATH

There are not many of you who are lying awake battling fears of death, but you or someone you know may be one who is having to face this very thing right now.Have you been diagnosed as having a terminal disease? Has someone close to you been told that they have only a few more months to live? These situations are heartbreaking and very difficult, but  God wants you to know that He is standing right by your side. His strength is by you to carry you through. He wants you to know that not only did Jesus die to abolish the power of death, but the power that any fear of death may hold over you as well. His Word explains that Jesus became like us so that, by going through death He might:

"...make of no effect him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the (haunting) fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives" . With God death is not a termination, it is a transition...from earthly life to life with Him which is eternal and will never cease. Death is for the Christian a setting free from the bondages of our physical bodies and the sin of this earth...freedom to be with Jesus. Rejoice – you may be leaving one home, but in God's grace you are going to a better one.

 PLEASE PRAY THIS

Heavenly Father, thank You for this new revelation. Let your power of victory over death and over the fear of death, now deliver me from all bondage. No longer will apprehension over the passage from this life into Your Life in heaven, make me sick or afraid. For to be absent in the body is to be at home with You. I praise You for the renewal of my mind and the new freedom I now feel to go with You, where my soul longs to be. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

DOCTOR, DOCTOR, I AM SICK.....

I am thankful that I never been hospitalized for some serious illness. I remember back home I will asked my doctor to put me in hospital even for 24 hours just to take a leave of absence from work. Yes back home I worked so hard, and the worse thing, it's very hard to take leave even your sick. Now that I am here in the US, I've been sick maybe twice with flu and fever, I think I have allergy in changing weather. Since we got divorce I am living alone and for me this is the hardest life I ever had. A very unstable life, all aspect of my life now is very unstable, only my faith make me stronger to go on. Two days ago, I start to work in a produce packing factory. In the first day I worked 14 hours night shift and for me this the hardest part especially the whole production area is refrigerated. Back home I worked long hours too but in a managerial position. Even it is so hard I need to earn and survived after what he done to me. After I got home, I feel headache and heaviness on my body. I'm scared because I feel that probably its flu. I started to sneeze, and I feel some sore on my throat so I call the staffing office right away informing them I can't go to work the next day. And here I am suffering from bad flu and fever. The bad thing is this sickness makes me more depressed, thinking that I am alone but my Lord never forsake me. I meet this one friend a month ago, he live 15 minutes away from me. He call me and when he knows that I'm sick he is so worried he knows what I'm goin thru, and he understand how to be alone in a foreign place with nothing. He decided to bring me some medicine, at first I am not so comfortable to accept his help but I don't have choice. He's a good person anyway and he has heart to all filipino. Thank You Bill. MYLIFESTORY Post18

Apology to all my readers and followers of mylifestory.. I was not able to post the continuation of the due to some personal reason but now you can follow me again every monday….After few months of daily emails, communication, and my man decided to planned his visit to the Philippines to meet my family and me. I talked to my family that Mr. L.. is coming very soon. My family is not so excited about it; maybe they are worried about him, and probably not convinced that he is a good person. I mentioned it also to my best friend in work and she is excited but always reminded me what kind of life I will have with him. My best friend is almost a sister to me, our life both are open book for each other. We know each other ups and down, tears and laugh but she is there to support whatever decision I will made. September 2006 Mr L. informed me that he booked his ticket already going to the Philippines and I am so excited. In my part, I have to prepare also for his arrival. My first arrangement is to find somebody who will escort him from the plane until the arrival area so he will not experienced the hardship in immigration check. (That is how he is so important to me). I talk to my best friend about it and she mentioned to me that I need to pay some escort for him. So the night of excitement is coming… We rent a van to pick him on the airport with my two sisters. While we are in airport I am so excited and anxious what he looks like, and what I will feel when we meet in person. At 11:59 the escort guy call me informing that he find Mr L inside the plane but he do not want to go with him... Funny for sure Mr. L is probably scared heehaw... Therefore, I talked to Mr. L and told him that I sent that escort for him so he will not encounter any problem in immigration check . Finally, when our eyes meet, I almost melt where I stand. He is so cute, tall, and handsome and little bald LOL.. Overall, he is cute. He said hello to my two sisters and of course kiss for me LOL…While we travelling to my place, we feel so comfortable with our conversation. We feel that we meet already for a long time ago.
