Today my Hubby and I went on a date to Downtown Detroit. We were very hungry because we left the house without eating lunch so when we arrived Downtown we decided to try out the famous Buffet at the Greektown Casino. The line to get inside was a great adventure! It really was just like waiting in line for the roller coaster at an amusement park, and just as many people. Only on this line for just over $20 two people could eat and drink themselves to death! lol
The food was truly extravagant. For a self serve buffet, the various cuisines, and cultures were amazing. There really was more food than you could shake a stick at! lol My husband tried a specialty Squash Soup, fell in love, and went bananas! He loved it so much and then started rambling about how it was the very best soup that he had ever tasted, and went as far as to accuse the Owners of creating subliminal soup, because his inner child was awakening from this incredible experience! At the end of our main feasting I asked my hubby if he would like to get dessert with me, but he insisted on having another entire bowl of that soup as I sampled the delicious pies, and cheesecake.
